Alkhorayef Industries inaugurates new factory in Iraq: a firm step toward industrial and agricultural development

Saudi Arabia’s Alkhorayef Industries Company has taken an important step in reinforcing its commitment to Iraq’s growth by inaugurating a new factory dedicated to the production of advanced irrigation systems. With an initial annual capacity of 1500 units, the facility is designed to directly contribute to Iraq’s strategic goals of food security and sustainable water management.

The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Khaled Batal Al-Najm, Iraq’s Minister of Industry and Minerals, alongside the Deputy Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Iraq and a distinguished delegation from the Saudi embassy. They were warmly welcomed by His Excellency Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Alkhorayef, Chairman of Alkhorayef Industries, who was accompanied by members of the company’s administrative and technical teams.

During his address, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Alkhorayef Industries and Iraq’s Ministry of Industry and Minerals, recognizing the company’s role in advancing both industrial capability and agricultural productivity in the country. For his part, Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Alkhorayef shared a detailed presentation of the project and personally guided the delegation through the factory, showcasing the facility’s state-of-the-art departments and production processes.

This achievement marks a milestone not only for Alkhorayef Industries, but also for Iraq’s future. By combining technical expertise with a clear vision for sustainable development, the company reinforces its position as a reliable partner in Iraq’s long-term progress. The new factory stands as a symbol of cooperation, innovation, and commitment to building a more secure and prosperous agricultural sector.
